The Christmas party and Christmas itself has come and gone. We hope that everyone had a good time. Here are some photos to remember the moments.

The IAB Gala 2011 took place as scheduled. Guests of honour were Dr. Nagendra Prasad, Counsellor, Embassy of India and Dr. Urs Hofmann, Regierungsrat, Kanton Aargau. We hope everyone enjoyed the programs and generally had a good time.

This year's FUN & FOOD FESTIVAL took place on 11-09-2011 at the Kantonsschule, Wettingen. This years event was  in co-operation with the
Kantonsschule, Wettingen. We and the Kantonsschule wish to thank all participants for this enjoyable event in the picturesque settings of the Kantonsschule Mensa . We also hope that all participants enjoyed the event.

Venue: Kantonsschule Wettingen, Mensa, (near Wettingen Train Station)

Music videos of popular Indian film music was played during the event along with some live singing on the karaoke. A Ras Garba /Dandia dance was performed by the children of the Kantonsschule dressed in colourful Indian costumes. The visitors to the Fun & Food Festival also joined in the fun.

Food:

We had several food stands set up by our members and serving up delicious Indian delicacies. Drinks, including mango lasssi were sold by the Kantonsschule

IAB members (Janak Nastik, Veena Chawla, Mala Chari, Isha Gupta and Divya Purohit) have conducted a cooking course for the students of Kantonsschule Wettingen on 31st August. Some photos can be seen here:
